Air Crash

On July 17th of 2007, another air crash happened in Brazil, more precisely at the airport of Guarulhos – Sao Paulo, resulting in the total of 180 fatal victims. The accident happened when the airplane was landing at the airport but was not able to break and the airplane passed through the runway and crashed into the building of the same air company of the aircraft.

Land Reclamation

On the 1970’s, a case that took place in Sorriso, Mato Grosso, where an American family which had a land of 150 thousand hectares, was threatened by the locals and forced to leave the country. They spent thirty years fighting for justice but with no success.  This was known as the biggest case of land dispute that ever took place in Brazil.

We provided the link between the client and another specialized team of lawyers that was able solve this case in only 2 years.

Exportation / Importation

An American chemical manufacturer and a Brazilian importer, had an agreement of shipment from the US to Brazil in which the manufacturer sent all the chemical material after a partial payment of a merchandise worth more than USD 20,000, but the Brazilian part refused to pay the rest of the money because they didn’t have the licenses required for that type of product so they gave up and the product was retained at the Port of Santos

We provided the legal support for the client to force the Brazilian importer to pay all the port and return shipment fees so that our client could get his product back.
